IDEA PLANNING!!

 In the beginning, we were planning a very simple video that only showed happy friendship memories  friends cycling, eating together, laughing, and just enjoying village life. But later we felt that this would not fully connect with the emotions of Sajni, because the song itself carries a lot of longing and depth. That’s why we added a conflict: Maham having to leave, the memories fading, and the sense of separation. This makes the video more engaging, because the happiness of the past mixes with the sadness of the present, which reflects the bittersweet tone of the song.                                                            

The ending twist also ties directly with the theme of Sajni. The mysterious man taking Maham’s hand shows that even when one part of life ends, another begins. The song’s lyrics are about calling someone close, about love and emotional closeness, and our storyline reflects that longing. By keeping the man’s identity hidden, we left it open for viewers to decide whether Maham is moving on with a lover, a companion, or just the idea of hope. This way, the music video doesn’t just show nostalgia, but also leaves an emotional impact that matches the mood of Sajni.
